Hej

Hi Marck,
Just to add - I saw the presentation the guys from India did on MS Test Manager at EuroSTAR...and was blown away...then I asked the price
It really looked a great tool but I think will be out of reach to many with regards price

It would be great if anybody could share the ppt from Eurostar about Test Manager.
I think that as for testing tool generally the configuration and settings are the main challenge. The bigger organisation is using the same tool, the more requirements for specific projects and the more difficult to maintain and reuse test cases. And the time consuming task of setting up and administrating is costly.
Updating a template, field or a setting is a tremendous coordination when the database contains lots and lots of test cases. If they are also linked to other work items, being copied over some iterations, in a large organisation, it seems impossible to track the valid information.
Anybody in the forum worked with large test case repositories ?
best regards
Lene |
